The cupboard was bare of any cake yesterday afternoon - so we had a look through to see what we could have with our tea. I had missed lunch so was rather peckish and knew that I couldn't last until I had finished cooking dinner. Luckily we had some fresh crusty bread and found a jar of Tahin (sesame paste) and a jar of Pekmez (Carob) - mix the two together in fairly equal quantities. You can either spread this onto the bread or, do as we did, stood and dipped the bread into the mixture. Yum yum yum.
